Spanish
Cinquains
Cinquains are Spanish poems with five structured lines: noun, two adjectives, three -ing verbs, a sentence to describe the noun, a synonym for the noun. We created these poems and used the app Aurasma to make a video appear over our text. This video was of us reciting our poem along to a slideshow of images. This is the link to my videos, Lluvis (rain) and Hierba (grass):

I found this project to be difficult because I kept trying to create a poem that would sound pleasant to English speaker's ears. I also had difficulty finding an appropriate topic, as I'm not really creatively inclined. However, I did improve my pronunciation through this project because I could hear my own voice in the recordings and was able to pinpoint where I made mistakes.
Adivina Quien
Adivina quien means "guess who?" in Spanish. We wrote about ourselves in Spanish and created a taxedo image with it. To the right is my taxedo image, and below is the link to my personal paragraph.

I really enjoyed this project because I was able to write sentences in Spanish and see how much I really knew, or did not know. It can be difficult to judge knowledge without attempting to use the information. I was able to test my ability to create sentences and I also developed a repertoire of sentences that I can use to answer personal questions. I also improved my pronunciation here because I spent a lot of time practicing in order to present this information and I got more familiar with the Spanish words. Overall, I really enjoyed this project. (Just a hint if you were wondering: the image is of a high jumper)
